- Wash the bulgur wheat and soak it in water for 5-7 minutes till it drain well.
- Chop all the vegetables, herbs, green onions and tomatoes draining excess juice if needed.
- Place all in a large bowl and toss or mix all gently; parsley, mint, tomatoes, lemon juice, garlic, radish, peppers, cinamon, salt and at the end add the olive oil and flaxseed (optional)
- Taste and adjust seasonings as you like while mixing; serve with lettuce leaves.
In a small bowl, whisk the lemon juice, oil, jalapeno, garlic, salt, allspice and pepper. Pour over bulgur mixture and toss to coat. Finely chop the parsley, spring onions and tomatoes and place them into your separate large salad bowl. Juice all the fresh lemons and pour it over the salad mixture. Add olive oil, black pepper and salt in the salad mixture.
