  1. Prepare 14 kg palmoil
  2. Make ready 2 Maggi cubes
  3. Get 12 teaspoon dry pepper

  7. Prepare 1 big Onion
  8. Make ready 2 cksp of crayfish
  9. Make ready Bunch lettuce
  10. Prepare 1 cksp of salad cream

Nigerian palm oil jollof rice is a variant of the Nigerian Jollof rice. The main difference being that palm oil is used rather than vegetable oil. Just like the Palm oil Stew, local spices are also used. Growing up in Nigeria, Palm oil rice was a staple.

Instructions to make Palmoil rice:
  1. Boil rice for 10mins,bring down and wash.
  2. Place a dry pot on fire add palmoil allow for 2mins then add sliced onion and stir.
  3. Add crayfish,pepper,Salt and Maggi.wash the dry fish and pour inside.
  4. Cover the pot and allow it to boil very well.
  5. Stir and pour in the rice.onces the rice is done serve with the lettuce and cream by the side.

Just like the Palm oil Stew, local spices are also used. Growing up in Nigeria, Palm oil rice was a staple. It was easy to cook without any hassle. It involves the use of palm oil, spicy peppers, cray fish and dry fish. I remember always cooking this meal and feeding my neighbor's kids.
